Tips for using culinary pottery
In order to guarantee the durability of natural terracotta pottery, it is essential to know good practices.
Maintenance may vary depending on the mold (terrines, cake molds), which is why it is important to read the following tips to properly keep your mold(s).
Terrines, casseroles, dishes and containers:
Before using for the first time, cook whole milk (1/3) in an oven heated to 200 ° C for about 1 hour. Turn off the oven and let cool before emptying and rinsing the mold.
Cake molds (kouglopf, pies, paschal lamb, langhopf, rabbit):
Before using for the first time, grease the inside walls of the mold with margarine or with oil and bake everything at 100 ° C for 15 minutes. This operation can be repeated as needed.
After each use: wipe the mold with a damp cloth. Can not be washed under water.
